Data License | ZenHodl

This license applies to all data downloaded from ZenHodl, including CSV files, API responses, datasets, and predictions.

Grant of License

ZenHodl grants the licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, single-user license to use downloaded data for private research, analysis, backtesting, and model development. For account checkout, the licensee is the purchasing account. For an autonomous x402 purchase, the licensee is the person or entity controlling the payer wallet, evidenced by the settlement receipt and transaction hash.

You MAY:

Use data for personal trading decisions
Build private models, backtests, and analysis using the data
Store data locally on devices you control
Publish aggregate findings that do not expose row-level data or permit reconstruction of a substantial portion of the archive, with attribution to ZenHodl and the artifact version

You MAY NOT:

Resell or redistribute the archive, row-level extracts, or a transformed substitute from which a substantial portion of the purchased data can be reconstructed
Share CSV files, datasets, or API outputs with anyone — including friends, colleagues, Discord servers, Telegram groups, or forums
Publish raw data to GitHub, Kaggle, Google Drive, or any public/semi-public platform
Build a competing product using ZenHodl data (e.g. a competing API, dashboard, or alerts service)
Remove or alter any license metadata, watermark, ZIP comment, or fingerprint that is actually present in the delivered artifact
Transfer your license to another person or entity

Delivery evidence & enforcement

Delivery evidence depends on the purchase rail. Account downloads may carry a buyer-specific ZIP comment or a license header on generated CSV files. Large static Parquet archives are not rewritten per buyer and are not represented as containing an email in every file. An x402 delivery is associated with the payer wallet, signed payment requirements, product identifier, and on-chain settlement transaction recorded in the receipt.

If we discover redistributed data, we will:

Immediately terminate the offending account
Revoke all API keys and access
Pursue remedies available under this agreement and applicable law
Seek recovery of costs where a court or applicable agreement permits it

Intellectual Property

ZenHodl owns its capture selection, organization, documentation, schemas, derived features, models, ratings, and original predictions to the extent protected by applicable law. Exchange observations, sports facts, scores, and other third-party source facts may be subject to separate rights and are not claimed as facts invented by ZenHodl. Purchasing a dataset or subscribing to the API grants a usage license; it does not transfer ZenHodl's rights or any third party's rights.

Termination

This license terminates automatically if you breach any of these terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of ZenHodl data in your possession. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and enforcement survive termination.

By purchasing or downloading ZenHodl data — including an x402-paid download — you agree to the license version linked in that product's payment requirements and catalog record. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. See also: Terms of Service | Privacy Policy
